Lead from Within empowers these individuals with leadership strategies that are relevant for their reality.

This interactive virtual program develops self-awareness for long-term results. Participants will come away with easy-to-apply tools that support sustained change long after the program is over.

Leveraging the results of a powerful assessment tool, we give participants a deeper understanding of motivations and behaviors, so that they can tune their approach to the situation and build stronger relationships at work.

Develop confidence to handle tough situations

Effective leadership requires the ability to navigate conflict. Participants master strategies to refocus conflicts and create mutually beneficial outcomes.

A learning model that delivers results

Immersive experience

The program guides participants through a six-week learning journey. Every week, participants come together with their peers for a virtual facilitated session. Between sessions, participants complete personal reflection and application exercises and communicate with their cohort in an online community.

Action-based learning approach

Too often, trainings pack in lots of new material in a very short amount of time, and participants can be at a loss as to how to apply everything that they’ve learned after the program is over. By distributing the training over a six-week period, we give participants the opportunity to acquire new strategies in bite-sized chunks, with plenty of time to experiment with what they have learned before moving on to new material.

Coaching from expert facilitators

Each of our facilitators has over 15 years of experience in various leadership roles, so they know what it takes to lead with influence. We keep the group size small, giving every participant the opportunity to get targeted support from these experts.

Meet the facilitators

Philip Hunter

Philip has always had a passion for helping people find meaning and fulfillment in their work, in whatever roles they hold. He has worked closely with senior executives, mid-level leaders and front-line employees to help them lead and work in ways that are authentic to them.

Philip’s facilitation style is engaging and inclusive, yet thought-provoking. His experience includes speaking at a variety of HR/OD-related seminars and conferences. He also teaches Organizational Behaviour at the Ted Rogers School of Business at Ryerson University, where his students keep him on his toes!

When not at the HUB, Philip can be found paddling his kayak on the lake or enjoying time with his family.

Jen is an accomplished Learning and Talent Development Professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in industries such as retail, real estate and pharmaceutical. She has held senior leadership roles focusing on leadership development; performance management and assessment; succession planning; competency modelling and building high-performing teams.

Jen is a solutions-focused strategic thinker who brings a creative and high-impact approach to facilitating.

When not at theLEADhub, Jen can be found volunteering, spending time with family and friends and cheering on her kids at the hockey rink and basketball court.
