Based in London, Ontario, Howie provides career coaching services to Verity clients who are in transition. He also works with organizations that are planning and/or implementing their workforce strategies.
In 1998, Howie started Future Career Directions, where he provided career services to individuals and groups with a demeanor most often described as quiet confidence by his clients.
Prior to starting his own firm, Howie enjoyed a successful career with Bell Canada where his management experience started in the construction field and progressed through confidential counseling for managers and human rights investigations for an employee base of over 25,000.
Howie believes in continuous learning and has acquired professional development and expertise in leadership, co-active coaching and organization structuring.
Howie is certified to administer the Life Options Profile, a program designed to assist individuals in retirement planning. He is also an active mentor with the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) a national charity which has been supporting aspiring young Canadian entrepreneurs since 1996.
