TORONTO, ON – May 2, 2012 – Verity International Limited is pleased to announce the addition of three new professionals to its Executive Advisory Services (EAS) practice. Diana Cape, Michael Geraghty and Jeff Welton have joined Verity as Executive Advisors. Their addition to Verity’s growing practice is a reflection of the continued need for top-level career advisory services.
“Business is all about people. Leaders need access both to strategic as well as just-in-time advice on organizations, people and careers,” says Tim Arnill President and CEO of Verity International Limited. “It’s critical that executives have career and business advisors who have been there – who have held those executive positions and can share their knowledge and experience. That’s what our EAS practice provides.”
“In the business of executive level coaching and career transition, having a ‘strong bench’ is essential,” continues Tim. “Each of our new Executive Advisors brings a solid and diverse set of skills to the practice.”
Diana Cape is a professional with over 20 years of business development experience and a proven track record of growth and stewardship when it comes to long-term client relationships. “Diana is well-known for her entrepreneurial spirit and successful printing company, and what she brings to Verity is quite unique. Her experience allows her to advise Verity’s aspiring entrepreneurial clients in growing their ventures into sustainable, successful businesses,” explains Tiffany Goodlet, who leads Verity’s EAS practice.
“Starting your own business, or running one, can be very lonely and unsettling. You need to make sure you are ready for it,” says Diana. “This is where my own experience can be very helpful to our clients.”
Michael Geraghty, MBA is an ICSA Accredited Director of the Board. In addition to being the former President & CEO of USC Education Savings Plan Inc., Michael has held several executive level positions and has had a successful sales, business development and technology leadership career. “As a past CEO and executive level leader, Michael is well situated to coach Verity’s most senior clients in successfully navigating through personal and organizational change,” says Tiffany.
“I am looking forward to sharing my executive experience with our clients, I think it gives me added insight as a coach – I was once in their shoes,” says Michael.
Jeff Welton, CHRP is an experienced human resources professional with over 30 years of industry experience. Jeff comes to Verity from TD Bank Group where he most recently held the appointment of Vice President Human Resources, Direct Channels and Distribution Strategy. Throughout his tenure at TD, Jeff was successful in a variety of leadership roles, and is well positioned to provide executive coaching to Verity’s clients and consulting services to organizations looking to build their people strategy.
“I’ve always been passionate about coaching others and helping them unlock their potential and fulfil their dreams,” says Jeff “That’s part of what makes me a great fit with the Verity team – we hold the same values.”
The addition of Diana, Michael and Jeff, while contributing to the growth of the EAS practice, also provides Verity clients with additional skill sets and an extensive network of contacts.
“We are very proud of the way we have built and are growing this practice,” says Paul Bates, Chair of Verity’s board. “We are focused on the right kind of growth, which only comes from having unparalleled consulting services and the best people in the industry.”
