Colleen Fleming joins Verity’s Executive Advisory Services Practice

The need for executive-level career advisory services continues in spite of market changes.

TORONTO, ONAugust 16, 2011 – The need for executive-level career advisory services continues in spite of market changes. Verity International Limited is pleased to announce that Colleen Fleming, MBA, C.Dir, has joined Verity as an Executive Advisor in the firm’s Toronto area Executive Advisory Services (EAS) practice.

The addition of Ms. Fleming to the practice is a reflection of the continued need for top-level career advisory services.

“Business is all about people. Leaders need access both to strategic as well as just-in-time advice on people and career related issues,” said Tim Arnill, President and CEO of Verity International Limited. “It is critical that executives have career and business advisors who have been there – who have held those executive positions – and can share their knowledge and experience. That’s what our EAS practice provides. We are delighted that Colleen has joined our team.”

Through her extended career she has held the positions of CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, President and CEO of the Career Edge Organization, President of Laura Secord, Senior Vice President of Nestle Canada, and Director, Retail Canadian and USA operations of Tabi International. Colleen has extensive community engagement serving on various non-profit and broader public sector boards.

In addition to her work at Verity, Ms. Fleming has founded an organization called “Bridge2Success”, which assists leaders from Corporate Canada make a successful transition into leadership roles in the non-profit sector. She is also Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at Seneca College, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).
