Verity Corporate Briefing Series

Verity International Limited held its Corporate Briefing Series event on Thursday, November 13th, 2008 at The National Club in Toronto:

Organizational Transformation and Engagement
Does it have to be an Oxymoron?

Today’s organizations are under increasing scrutiny to demonstrate value to shareholders and stakeholders.  For many, this requires reorganizing, restructuring or complete organizational transformation.

But success is difficult.

A recent survey by McKinsey found that only one third of executives said that their organizations had achieved the results they were expecting after transformational change projects.

We know that for organizations to be successful, especially in achieving transformational change, the whole company must be engaged.  And yet, most companies are unable to do this.

The HR leader has a critical role: to be the CEOs trusted advisor, and help lead the organization through successful transformation.

Join us for an overview of McKinsey’s survey and a panel discussion on how some of Canada’s leading companies are transforming their organizations.

Read Dave Crisp’s thoughts on the briefing on his blog. Dave Crisp is a speaker and strategist focusing on leadership effectiveness.
