Bill Parsley, B.A., C.H.R.P.

Bill Parsley manages Verity’s Toronto office and is responsible for the overall client experience for the career management and transition practice. This includes client engagement and satisfaction, service quality and program development.

Bill is an accredited human resources executive with national and international experience in a variety of sectors, including financial services, sports and entertainment, real estate development, food services, retail and others. He has an extensive background leading and implementing major organizational change and transition strategies, taking on key leadership roles in restructuring, spin-off, divestiture, and merger and acquisition assignments.

Prior to joining Verity, Bill was vice president of human resources and administration for Markborough Properties Inc., a global real estate development business with more than $2.5 billion in assets across North America and the United Kingdom. He led the strategic transformation of the HR function, aligning its focus and activities with the corporation’s business objectives. He was a member of the corporation’s Executive Committee and Chairman of its Reorganization Task Force.

He was also vice president of human resources at PHH Canada Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of PHH Corporation, a Fortune 500 business focused on providing financial, consulting and administrative outsourcing services to corporate clients. Bill led the revitalization of the company’s Canadian workplace culture to support aggressive business growth, resulting in a position of market dominance.

Bill also acquired considerable human resources and labour relations experience during his time at McDonalds Corporation, where he led the human resources team in their Eastern Canadian Region. He was also a director for the Administration and Labour Relations Practitioner for the City of Scarborough.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Wilfred Laurier University and is a graduate of the Industrial Relations Executive Program from Queen’s University. He is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario, and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
