Helen Oosterholt Helen Oosterholt has spent over 25 years working in the area of senior human resources leadership, organization design and effectiveness, and management consulting, leading improvements in a wide variety of blue chip businesses. Her broad industry experience includes: Manufacturing, Distribution, Technology, Engineering, Food, Financial, Professional Services, Retail and Energy. As a senior consultant with Verity’s organizational consulting and talent management - practice, she provides a set of innovative people solutions that genuinely enhance individual, team and collective organization performance. Helen’s executive human resources experience includes working as an outsourced Vice President for human resources management consulting as well as corporate human resources leadership. In addition, her previous role as Vice President of Human Resources in The George Weston Group and Thomson Professional Publishing, which involved direct operating accountability in difficult turnaround situations, combined with her consulting experience, have demonstrated her abilities as a pragmatic business coach and hands-on leader. Helen’s approach includes expert organization diagnosis, leadership development and executive coaching and the design of talent strategies that yield collective business improvements most expediently and effectively. Her use of change management techniques underlies her strong, decisive leadership as a means of involving and coaching senior decision- makers in the creation of customized people solutions. As a passionate builder of high-performance organizational and leadership capabilities, her areas of focus include diagnosis, strategy facilitation and design of: organization structure, talent attraction/retention/engagement/development and broad organizational consulting solutions to develop high-performance cultures. Helen has a Master’s degree specializing in Organization Effectiveness and has also been a guest speaker at the Human Resource Professionals Association of Ontario, the Ontario Society for Training and Development, the National Society for Performance and Instruction and the Canadian Management Centre. Helen is also an accredited executive coach. |
