Don McCreesh provides Verity clients with executive coaching and leadership development solutions, capitalizing on his extensive experience as a Corporate Director, International Human Resources Executive and Senior Management Consultant.

Don is Chair of the Board at Brainhunter (TSX:BH), an IT and engineering staffing firm with job board offerings, as well as Chair of the Board at Educators Financial (formerly the Ontario Teachers Group Financial Inc.), a private mutual fund. Don is also an Advisory Board member with VenGrowth Private Equity and has had previous board experience serving as Lead Director at RAND A Technology Corporation (TSX:RND), a professional services and technology supplier to professional engineering and related firms.

His executive human resources experience spans industries, cultures and countries, bringing a wide variety of experience and insight to Verity’s clients. Don has been Corporate Officer and Global Head of Human Resources for blue chip organizations such as Nortel Networks, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Celestica.

He has served on the Board of Directors of 13 not-for-profit organizations, including Imagine Canada, where he is the Chair, and the YMCA of Greater Toronto, where he is a past Chair. In addition, Don has provided executive leadership to key cross-sectoral initiatives such as the IT Joint Table of the federal Voluntary Sector Initiative, Service Canada and the Government of Canada’s Government On-Line Advisory Board.

Don earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters of Business Administration degree at McMaster University. He is also a chartered director, accredited by the Directors College, where he was named winner of the Gil Bennett Gold Standard Award as top graduate, 2005-2006.
