Mathieu Baril, M.Ps Mathieu knows how to align people for organizational success. Responsible for leading the talent and organizational consulting practice for Verity, Mathieu specializes in three areas: leadership assessment, talent acquisition and development and people management solutions tailored to the specific needs of his corporate clients. He leverages and integrates best practices and current advances in the field of talent management within Verity’s portfolio of services. Mathieu is known for his ability to quickly and accurately assess the overall potential and associated risks of leaders in key organizational roles. As a trusted advisor, he partners with his clients to design pragmatic solutions and provide strategic advice to align employees with organizational needs. Mathieu is actively involved in project design and implementation of accelerated leadership development programs, 360° feedback initiatives, succession planning and talent-related due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. He has substantial experience working with business leaders from the financial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, information technology and professional services industries. Prior to joining Verity, Mathieu worked for SPB Organizational Psychology as the Assessment Practice Leader for their Toronto office, where he was responsible for leading the growth of the business tied to a variety of assessment services. Mathieu started his consulting career with André Filion & Associates as an Organizational Psychologist, first in Quebec City and then in Montreal. There, he quickly learned the practical approach to assessing talent for key positions and developing solutions that link the strengths, potential and aspirations of people to business plans. In addition to his responsibilities with Verity, Mathieu is also an active member of the National Psychology Best Practice Committee with Verity Filion Inc. – the Canadian HR consulting firm founded by Verity and André Filion & Associates. He is also involved in fostering synergies globally within BPI group – Verity Filion’s international partner. Mathieu holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Laval University. He is a member of the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (CSIOP), Club Canadien de Toronto and Strategic Capability Network (SCNetwork). |
