Janet Adie When Janet Adie meets with her clients, she sees their potential and makes it her mission to unlock it. She expects the best for her clients, counsels them on how to achieve it, and takes great pride in their success and advancement. Janet is responsible for the oversight of Verity’s Mississauga office and manages all operational aspects of the business as well as the career management and transition practice. She offers her career consulting expertise to individuals as well as organizational consulting on such projects as restructuring, change management, and in-house career management. Janet’s experience includes major consulting assignments across a variety of sectors, including work on projects such as business and plant closings, company relocation, and downsizings. She has organized comprehensive career centres for employees impacted by organizational change and has helped organizations access government and community resources to support individuals affected by downsizing. In addition, Janet has utilized her strong interpersonal skills in designing and delivering workshops on effective job search strategies and stress management. Prior to joining Verity, Janet worked in human resources in the airline industry. Her broad knowledge of the human resource function offers Verity’s clients an array of strategic and tactical solutions associated with career management and transition. Janet graduated in Business Administration from Langside College in Glasgow, Scotland. She is also an active member of the HRPAO, ACP International, Strategic Capability Network and the Women’s Executive Network. |
